I changed our server to only recognize http://railspikes.com (not http://www.railspikes.com) to try to fix the duplicate posting problem.

Apparently it didn’t work.

Is this like your average geek conference without the overinflated egos?

Hopefully. It’s supposed to be like a “geek vacation”. There’s no sponsors, so the agenda is totally up to the organizers and the speakers, and there are paid-for parties every night. I think it will be fun. If nothing else, it’s a grand experiment in conferences.
